Step preview

  1. Place the Frozen Dessert Maker attachment in the freezer 24 hours in advance
  2. Add the ingredients into a saucepan
  3. Heat, while stirring often until reduced a bit – about 10 minutes, medium heat
  4. Slightly squash the blueberries
  5. Then set aside and let cool
  6. Add the ingredients into a clean saucepan
  7. Heat until near boiling – medium heat
  8. Strain the milk mixture into a jug and let cool
  9. Fit the Whisk Tool
  10. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl and fit the splashguard
  11. Mix then scrape the sides of the bowl – 2 minutes, speed 4
  12. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 4
  13. Carefully pour the milk mixture into the appliance bowl
  14. Mix – 2 minutes, speed Min
  15. Pour the custard mixture back into the saucepan
  16. Remove the Whisk Tool
  17. Heat until the custard is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon – medium heat
  18. Chill the custard in the fridge – 1 hour
  19. Remove the custard from the fridge
  20. Add the ingredient to the chilled custard and mix until combined
  21. Attach the Frozen Dessert Maker attachment to the machine
  22. Pour the custard mixture into the attachment
  23. Mix – 30 minutes, speed Min
  24. Transfer half of the ice cream into plastic container
  25. Add half of the puree and swirl through
  26. Add the rest of the ice cream
  27. Add the rest of the puree and swirl through
  28. Cover the plastic container with a lid and freeze overnight or until solid
  29. Serve
