Wonder Cake is a variable base recipe for a number of decorated or naked cakes. This simple recipe is easily adjusted to your personal taste. I used 200 ml milk for this recipe, but you can easily replace it with a plant-based milk replacement, fruit juice, liqueur, buttermilk, coffee, or else. If you'd like a chocolate cake, mix the liquid of your choice with 30 g cocoa powder before adding it to the bowl. You can also add vanilla or cinnamon extract or a food colouring of your choice. I have used 300 g of flour for this recipe, but you could also reduce the amount to 250 g and add 50 g of ground nuts, almonds, or coconut flakes instead. When the cake is completely cooled, divide it into as many layers as you need for your recipe. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.
