Step preview

  1. Fit the Knife Blade to the Food Processor attachment
  2. Add the ingredients into the attachment
  3. Blend until pureed
  4. Remove the attachment from the machine
  5. Fit the Dough Tool
  6. Add the beetroot puree and the next ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  7. Knead until a smooth dough has formed – 3 minutes, speed 1
  8. Flatten the dough slightly and wrap with plastic wrap
  9. Chill in the fridge – 30 minutes
  10. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured worksurface and divide into four equal pieces
  11. Take one piece and flatten into a long flat disc
  12. Cover the rest with a kitchen towel to prevent drying out
  13. Attach the Lasagne Roller attachment
  14. Adjust the setting to 1
  15. Sprinkle some flour between the rollers
  16. Start on speed 1
  17. Pass the dough through the rollers
  18. Fold the dough in three, rotate and repeat several times
  19. Repeat passing the dough through the rollers, adjusting the setting down each time until you reach setting 5
  20. Repeat the same rolling process with the rest of the dough
  21. Remove the attachment from the machine
  22. Fit the Fettuccini Cutter attachment
  23. Start on speed 1
  24. Pass the dough through the attachment
  25. Let dry – 30 minutes
  26. Now, make the sauce
  27. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Stir Tool
  28. Add the ingredient into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  29. Heat - 1 minute, 115ºC, speed Stir 1
  30. Add the next ingredients
  31. Heat - 3 minutes, 115ºC, speed Stir 1
  32. Then add nuts
  33. Heat – 30 seconds, 115ºC, speed Stir 1
  34. Add the next ingredient
  35. Cook - 2 minutes, 105ºC, speed Stir 1
  36. Then add cheese
  37. Cook - 2 minutes, 105ºC, speed Stir 1
  38. Season to taste
  39. Fill a large saucepan with water until ¾ full and bring to the boil
  40. Season with salt to taste
  41. Add pasta into the saucepan
  42. Cook and then drain – 2-4 minutes
  43. Divide the fettuccini between the serving bowls
  44. Pour the sauce onto the pasta and mix well until combined
  45. Serve
