Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven to - 180ºC
  2. Line a cupcake tin with paper cases
  3. Fit the Creaming Beater
  4. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  5. Mix – 3 minutes, speed 5
  6. While the machine is running, gradually add eggs and mix – 2 minutes, speed 1
  7. Then add the next ingredients
  8. Mix – 1 minute, speed 1
  9. Divide the mixture between cupcake cases
  10. Bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean – 20 minutes, 180ºC
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool completely
  12. Now, make the vanilla buttercream
  13. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Creaming Beater
  14. Add the ingredient into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  15. Mix – 3 minutes, speed 4
  16. Then add the next ingredients
  17. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 3
  18. Transfer the buttercream into a piping bag fitted with a large round tip
  19. Pipe ring of buttercream onto each cupcake
  20. Now, make the green buttercream
  21. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Creaming Beater
  22. Add the ingredient into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  23. Mix – 3 minutes, speed 4
  24. Then add the next ingredients
  25. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 3
  26. Transfer the buttercream into a clean piping bag fitted with a small star tip
  27. Cut the ends of wafer cones to 5cm lengths
  28. Sticks the ends of the cones onto the cupcakes
  29. Pipe small green stars all over the wafer cone
  30. Hold the cupcakes at an angle and scatter sprinkles over the buttercream
  31. Serve
