Step preview

  1. First, make the sauce
  2. Fit the Stir Tool and Stir Assist clip
  3. Add oil into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  4. Heat – 1 minute, 120ºC, speed off
  5. Add the next ingredients
  6. Cook – 5 minutes, 120ºC, speed Stir 2
  7. Then add the following ingredients
  8. Cook until reduced by half - 45 minutes, 98ºC, speed Stir 3
  9. Let cool – 10 minutes
  10. Fit the Knife Blade to the Food Processor attachment
  11. Transfer the sauce into the attachment
  12. Pulse until smooth
  13. Remove the attachment from the machine
  14. Pour the sauce into a medium bowl and let cool to room temperature
  15. Refrigerate until needed
  16. Now, make the dough
  17. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Dough Tool
  18. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl and stir to combine
  19. Add the next ingredients, fit the splashguard
  20. Knead - 10 minutes, speed 1
  21. Lightly oil a large bowl
  22. Transfer the dough to a work surface and form into a ball
  23. Place the dough into the large bowl and cover with plastic wrap
  24. Refrigerate overnight – 8 hours
  25. Lightly flour a large baking tray
  26. Divide the chilled dough into two equal pieces and form into balls
  27. Place the dough balls on the baking tray and spread apart
  28. Cover with kitchen towel and let rest until doubled in size – 2 hours
  29. Preheat the oven - 250ºC
  30. Place two clean baking trays on separate shelves in the oven
  31. Place one dough ball on a lightly floured work surface
  32. Gently press the centre of the dough to flatten
  33. Press and stretch the dough into a circle, about 35cm in dimension
  34. Leave the outer 1cm of the dough higher than the centre to form the crust
  35. Repeat the same process with the second dough ball
  36. Place one pizza on a lightly floured pizza peel
  37. Spread half of the sauce evenly on the pizza up to the crust
  38. Top with half of the cheese
  39. Dot half of the cream cheese in teaspoon-sized blobs over the pizza
  40. Top with the following ingredients
  41. Gently slide pizza off the peel onto one of the preheated baking trays
  42. Repeat the same process with the second pizza
  43. Bake until the crust is golden brown and cooked through and the cheese has melted with some dark spots – 15 minutes, 250ºC
  44. Using the pizza peel, remove the pizzas from the oven
  45. Slice into eight pieces and garnish
  46. Serve
