Deliciously sticky and spicy, these Korean-inspired ribs are slow cooked until tender, and then placed under the grill to caramelise the unctuous glaze to make a great sharing meal.

Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 120ºC
  2. Season the pork ribs with salt then place on a large piece of tin foil
  3. Transfer onto a baking tray and set aside
  4. Fit the Stir Tool
  5. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  6. Cook - 6 minutes, 105ºC, speed Stir 2
  7. Transfer prepared glaze into a small bowl and allow to cool - 10 minutes
  8. Brush both sides of the ribs with the glaze
  9. Wrap the ribs tightly with foil ensuring the seam faces upwards
  10. Bake - 1 hour 30 minutes, 120ºC
  11. Remove from the oven and carefully open the foil
  12. Brush the ribs with more glaze, then seal the foil tightly again
  13. Bake - 1 hour 30 minutes, 120ºC
  14. Remove from the oven
  15. Preheat grill to high temperature
  16. Unwrap the ribs and place onto the baking tray
  17. Pour any juices from the foil and baking tray into a small bowl with glaze, and mix to combine
  18. Pour the contents of the bowl over the ribs and place the tray under the grill
  19. Cook until sticky and slightly charred - 5 minutes
  20. Top with spring onions
  21. Serve
