This flavourful, meat-free alternative to traditional pork or chicken broths uses a variety of vegetables to achieve the same richness and umami. Not only is this recipe much quicker than a long-cooked bone broth, but it can also be easily veganised by leaving off the ramen egg garnish.

  8. Strain contents of the appliance bowl into a large bowl and discard the solids
  9. Transfer the content of the small bowl into the large bowl and stir to combine
  10. Add noodles into a large serving bowl and ladle over the broth
  11. Top with the ingredients
  12. Serve
