Any leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or frozen for up to six months.

Step preview

  1. Add pork into a large bowl and set aside
  2. Fit the Stir Tool
  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Cook until well combined - 4 minutes, 105ºC, speed Stir 2
  5. Let cool – 20 minutes
  6. Add 3 Tbsp of the cooled marinade into a small bowl and cover
  7. Refrigerate until needed
  8. Transfer the rest of the marinade into the large bowl with pork and stir well to coat the pork
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  10. Remove the pork from the fridge and allow to come to room temperature – 1 hour
  11. Preheat the oven - 220ºC
  12. Place a metal rack in a large baking tray
  13. Transfer the pork strips on top of the rack and spread apart
  14. Pour water into the baking tray below the pork
  15. Transfer the baking tray to the oven
  16. Roast - 20 minutes, 220ºC
  17. Reduce the oven temperature to 160ºC and turn the pork over
  18. Roast – 20 minutes, 160ºC
  19. Remove pork from the oven, brush all over with the remaining marinade and then place back in the oven
  20. Roast – 20 minutes, 160ºC
  21. Remove from the oven and allow to rest – 15 minutes
  22. Serve
