  1. Making the pastry:
  2. Fit the Knife Blade
  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Mix until fine crumbs form – 10 seconds
  5. Add the ingredients into a clean bowl and mix to combine
  6. Transfer the egg mixture into the appliance bowl
  7. Mix until dough formed – 10 seconds
  8. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap
  9. Chill in the fridge – 20 minutes
  10. Preheat the oven - 160ºC
  11. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface
  12. Roll out until 2mm thick
  13. Cut out rounds of pastry, slightly larger than the tart tins
  14. Line the tins with pastry until covered and trim the edges
  15. Use a fork to prick the base of each tart
  16. Line each tartlet tin with plastic wrap and fill with baking beans
  17. Bake - 15 minutes, 160ºC
  18. Remove the tartlets from the oven, remove the baking beans and plastic wrap
  19. Return the tartlets back to the oven
  20. Bake until lightly golden - 5 minutes, 160ºC
  21. Remove from the oven and set aside, do not remove from the tins
  22. Keep the oven turned on – 160°C
  23. Making the filling:
  24. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Knife Blade
  25. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  26. Mix until well combined
  27. Carefully pour the custard mixture into each tartlet tin, filling the tarts close to the edge
  28. Sprinkle each tart with the ingredients
  29. Bake until firm and golden - 20 minutes, 160ºC
  30. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tins
  31. Remove the tarts from the tins before serving
  32. Serve
