Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven – 200ºC
  2. Add the ingredients onto a baking tray and mix to coat
  3. Roast until the tomatoes have softened – 20 minutes, 200ºC
  4. Fit the Stir Tool
  5. Add oil into the appliance bowl
  6. Heat until hot – 1 minute, 140ºC, speed Off
  7. Then add the next ingredients
  8. Cook until fragrant – 3 minutes, 140ºC, speed Stir 2
  9. Then add the next ingredients
  10. Cook until combined – 1 minute, 140ºC, speed Stir 2
  11. Transfer the roasted ingredients into the appliance bowl
  12. Then add the next ingredients
  13. Cook until thickened slightly – 10 minutes, 98ºC, speed Stir 2
  14. Let cool slightly
  15. Transfer the soup into the Blender attachment
  16. Attach the Blender to the machine
  17. Blend until smooth– 30 seconds, speed Max
  18. Remove the attachment from the machine
  19. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Stir Tool
  20. Transfer the soup back into the appliance bowl
  21. Then add rice
  22. Cook until the rice is tender – 20 minutes, 98ºC, speed Stir 2
  23. Serve
