- Add the ingredients into the warming bowl and stir to combine
- Let rest – 5 minutes
- Fit the Dough Tool
- Add the ingredients into the warming bowl
- Knead until a dough has formed – 5 minutes, speed 1
- Remove the Dough Tool
- Transfer the dough onto a work surface
- Grease the appliance bowl with oil
- Return the dough to the bowl and fit the splashguard
- Prove until doubled in size – 1 hour, heat setting 2, speed Off
- Lightly oil a clean work surface
- Remove the dough from the appliance bowl and gently press down with your fists to remove the air
- Divide the dough into six equal pieces
- Shape each piece into a ball and cover with a tea towel
- Let rest – 15 minutes
- Roll out the dough balls into 20 cm circles
- Press your fingers into one side of the dough to create small dimples over the surface
- Preheat a frying pan – medium heat
- Add one pita to the frying pan
- Cook on both sides until golden and cooked through – 3 minutes, medium heat
- Wrap the pita in a clean tea towel to keep warm
- Repeat the same with the remaining pitas
- Serve
