Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 180ºC
  2. Grease a traybake tin and line with parchment paper
  3. Fit the Stir Tool & Stir Assist Clip
  4. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  5. Heat until melted - 3 minutes, 140°C, speed Stir 3
  6. Cook until well combined - 9 minutes, 120°C, speed Stir 4
  7. Then add porridge oats
  8. Set aside some orange zest for garnish, then add the rest into the appliance bowl
  9. Mix until well combined - 2 minutes, speed Stir 1
  10. Pour the oat mixture into the tin and spread until level
  11. Bake until golden brown - 20 minutes, 180°C
  12. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin - 1 hour
  13. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Creaming Beater
  14. Add chocolate into the appliance bowl
  15. Heat until melted - 10 minutes, 60°C, speed Stir 1
  16. Pour the melted chocolate over the flapjacks
  17. Sprinkle the reserved orange zest on top and let cool until set
  18. Cut into 12 squares
  19. Serve
