  1. Making the dough:

  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Knead until the dough has formed - 5 minutes, speed 1
  5. Transfer the dough into a clean bowl and cover with a damp tea towel
  6. Let rest - 1 hour
  7. Making the filling:
  8. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the K-Beater
  9. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  10. Mix until combined - 1 minute, speed 1
  11. Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces
  12. Roll out each piece into a thin circle, slightly smaller than your frying pan, about 15-20 cm in diameter
  13. Take a heaped tablespoon of the meat mixture and spread on one half of the circle of dough, leaving a 1 cm outer edge
  14. Moisten the edges and fold over to form a half-moon shape, making sure not to trap any air inside the pastry
  15. Press the edges to seal, first with your fingers and then with a fork
  16. Line a plate or baking tray with paper towels
  17. Add 2-3 cm oil into a deep sided frying pan
  18. Heat until hot and bubbling gently - medium-high heat
  19. Fry chebureki on each side until golden brown and crisp - 2-3 minutes
  20. Transfer the fried chebureki onto the lined plate
  21. Repeat the same process with the remaining chebureki
  22. Serve immediately
