Step preview

  1. Fit the Dough Tool
  2. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  3. Knead until the dough has formed - about 5 minutes, speed Min
  4. Transfer the dough to a work surface and form into a ball
  5. Grease the appliance bowl with oil
  6. Return the dough to the bowl
  7. Cover with a tea towel and let prove - 1 hour
  8. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface
  9. Gently pull the edges into the centre
  10. Roll the dough over and form into a loaf shape
  11. Place into the tin, seam side up
  12. Cover with a damp kitchen towel and prove until doubled in size - 1 hour
  13. Preheat the oven - 220ºC
  14. Place a tray of water into the bottom of the oven
  15. Remove the tea towel and spray the dough with salted water
  16. Bake until hollow-sounding when tapped - 25 minutes, 220ºC
  17. Remove from the oven and let cool
  18. Serve
