Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  3. Add bread flour, salt, mixed spice, caster sugar and butter to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 12
  7. Then add dried mixed fruit and dried yeast to the kCook bowl
  8. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 7
  9. Then add milk and egg to the kCook bowl
  10. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7
  11. Let rest - 5 min
  12. Transfer content of kCook bowl to lightly floured surface
  13. Knead lightly
  14. Divide into eighths with dough scraper
  15. Roll into balls
  16. Transfer dough to baking sheet and cover
  17. Prove until doubled - approx 1 hr
  18. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  19. Add cake flour and water to a clean small bowl
  20. Mix with teaspoon
  21. Transfer content of small bowl to piping bag
  22. Pipe
  23. Bake - 12 min, 220°C
  24. Brush with honey
  25. Serve
