A wonderful Mother's Day breakfast to start the day. Serve with a fried egg sandwiched between two waffles - delicious!

Step preview

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add milk, unsalted butter and egg to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Heat with filler cap fitted until lukewarm - 1 min, 30°C, speed 5
  8. Then add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  9. Blend with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  10. Then add chorizo, kale and fresh chives to the kCook bowl
  11. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  12. Grate halloumi into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  14. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 5
  15. Transfer content of kCook bowl to large glass bowl then set aside
  16. Heat waffle iron
  17. Cook until golden brown - approx 6 min
  18. Keep warm then set aside
  19. Add extra virgin olive oil to a clean frying pan
  20. Heat in frying pan - medium-high heat
  21. Add egg to the frying pan
  22. Fry in frying pan until cooked through
  23. Serve
