This recipe can be used to make many different cakes, to which different fillings may be added. Traditionally, this cake is made without yeast, but, in spite of this, it still rises well, and the sponge is soft and moist. To serve, turn out the cake onto a serving plate.   1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and flour a clean springform pan then set aside
  3. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add egg to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap removed - 3 min, 30°C, speed 9
  8. Then add caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, 30°C, speed 9
  10. Then add water to the kCook bowl
  11. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, 30°C, speed 9
  12. Transfer content of kCook bowl to large mixing bowl
  13. Sift italian 00 flour into the large mixing bowl
  14. Add lemon to the large mixing bowl
  15. Mix gently until combined
  16. Spoon batter into springform pan carefully
  17. Tap gently onto work surface
  18. Bake - 30 min, 180°C
  19. Let cool - approx 3 hr
  20. Serve
