A savoury pie made with a swirl of courgette and carrots and filled with bechamel sauce. To prepare the carrot and courgette, make sure you slice them very thin along the length of the vegetable to get thin, long strips. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  3. Add milk, ground nutmeg, butter and salt to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Cook with filler cap fitted - 3 min, 98°C, speed 2
  7. Then add cake flour, egg and parmesan cheese to the kCook bowl
  8. Mix with filler cap fitted and continue - 30 sec, speed 9
  9. Add shortcrust pastry to a clean lightly floured surface
  10. Roll out into a circle until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  11. Transfer pastry to round pan
  12. Line until covered and trim the edges
  13. Pour content of kCook bowl into round pan
  14. Add carrot and zucchini to the round pan
  15. Brush with olive oil carefully
  16. Sprinkle with salt
  17. Bake - 50 min, 180°C
  18. Let cool completely
  19. Serve
